Abstract

Modern drugs for the treatment of type 2 diabetes have different molecular targets and different mechanism of actions.Administration of these drugs as monotherapy and combination therapy allows a reliable control of di sease. However a rational choice of strategy of pharmacotherapy of type 2 diabetes is a difficult problem in clinical practice. In the article some aspects of this problem are considered.
