VULNERABLE AGE-SEX GROUPS OF DEATH RISK FROM ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION COMPLICATIONS IN THE CITY OF ASTRAKHAN

Abstract

Having analyzed 6933 cases of death in hospital from cardiovascular diseases with and without AH we established that AH makes the biggest contribution to death rate from cardiovascular diseases. Most cases of death wi th AH complications among females occur in the age group 70—79, among males — in the group of 60—69 years old. The most vulnerable age related to death from AH complications in hospital for females was under 59 years, for men under 49 years.
