Abstract

A retrospective pharmacoepidemiological study of the practice of prescribing medications in an out-patient department when treating patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) was carried out. An analysi s of medications consumption revealed the specifics of treating COPD by physicians of different medical specialties.
