Urinary tract infections are the most common type of human infections and they rate second after acute respiratory tract infections in incidence. Adequate antimicrobial chemotherapy with proper antibiotics selected on sensitivity spectrum, in proper dosage and the way of administration depending on pharmacokynetic and pharmacodynamic parameters is crucial for treatment effectiveness.
