SOME OUTCOMES OF IMPLEMENTING THE PROGRAM OF MODERNIZATION OF HEALTHCARE IN CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY

Abstract

A retrospective cohort study of 598 medical records of patients who underwent surgical treatment of cardiovascular disease was carried out. The study group included patients (n = 457), whose surgery was performed in the period 2011—2012, that is the period of the program of health modernization, the control group (n = 141) included patients operated in 2010. The study found a significant reduction in the risk of early postoperative complications and timing of medical rehabilitation in the study group.
