Abstract

The present research is devoted to a comparative characteristic of metaplastic zones of Barretts esophagus and stomach. We used histochemical and immunohistochemical methods of detecting secretory mucins (MUC 5 AC and MUC 2) produced by epitheliocytes of metaplastic zones.
