LICHEN RUBER PLANUS THERAPY WITH LASER THERAPY AND CHOLISAL GEL IN ORAL MUCOSA

Abstract

The paper describes a practical implementation of laser therapy, sedatives and vitamins in combination with topical administration of Cholisal gel in a complex therapy of exudative hyperemic type of lichen ruber planus of the oral mucosa. The therapeutic effect was estimated as a result of dynamic clinical observation for twelve months. 90 % of patients showed a relief of pain syndrome during the first sessions of laser therapy with Cholisal gel. The therapeutic effect set on 3-4 days earlier, the remission period doubled in comparison with patients receiving conventional thyerapy. The proposed complex therapy regimen was well tolerated by patients, no side effects were observed.
