SOME ASPECTS OF EPIDEMIOLOGY OF TUBERCULOSIS ON THE MODEL OF A LARGE INDUSTRIAL REGION

Abstract

An analysis of epidemic tuberculosis indicators in 2005—2012 showed that, despite the achieved stabilization of the epidemic situation, there is growth in the number of patients with drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis in combination with social and economic problems and impossibility of implementing fully modern infectious control, which will complicate the situation with tuberculosis in the region in years to come.
