ATTITUDE OF ORTHOPAEDISTS TO THE CONCERNS OF PATIENTS WITH AESTHETIC DEFORMITY OF THE LOWER EXTREMITIES

Abstract

A medico- sociological study carried out at the Volgograd State Medical University established that most orthopaedists regard aesthetic deformity of the lower extremities as a condition in which patients present with psychosocial problems. Thus,mere surgical correction of the shape of the legs is not sufficient to rehabilitate such patients.
