Abstract

The article discusses the issues of constructing and reconstructing healthcare settings in Stalingrad in the 1920—1930s.Based on the study of the designs of healthcare settings a number of new architectural trends have been identified. The relationship between healthcare setting design, industrial architecture and a new model for health care has been established.
