Abstract

In this paper, the method of substructure analysis was used to investigate the relationship between the levels of hypoglycemic activity and chemical structure of basic cyclic guanidine. A class of N9-substituted 2,3-dihydro-imidazo[1,2-a]benzimidazole, as the most promising as to the possible presence of compounds with hypoglycemic activity was identified.
