APPLICATION OF COLLAPSOTHERAPY IN TREATMENT OF DRUG RESISTANT DESTRUCTIVE PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS

Abstract

Nowadays, decreased efficiency of treatment in patients with destructive pulmonary tuberculosis is observed as a result of increased number of drug-resistant types of tuberculosis. Patients who have multiple drug resistance develop the most severe forms of drug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis. One of the ways of increasing the efficiency of therapy is the use of collapsotherapy (artificial pneumothorax and pneumoperitoneum).
