OUTCOMES OF THE DIAGNOSIS AND SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH THE FIRST EPISODE OF SPONTANEOUS PNEUMOTHORAX

Abstract

The article presents the outcomes of treatment of 143 patients with the first episode of spontaneous pneumothorax. The features of its clinic presentation, diagnostics and surgical treatment were considered. The most common medical tactics errors made at surgical departments as well as arising complications were analyzed.
