THE ROLE OF IMMUNE DYSORDERS AND MICRONUTRIENT IMBALANCE IN THE PREDICTION OF CARDIOVASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN PATIENTS WITH Q-WAVE MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

Abstract

The paper presents the findings of the analysis of the levels of cytokines (interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-а) and biometals (zinc, copper) in patients with complicated and uncomplicated acute Q-wave myocardial infarction. The concentrations of interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-а and copper in the serum in complicated infarction were statistically significantly higher and those of zinc were lower as compared to the uncomplicated and control groups.
