Abstract

Current aspects of personalized medicine were explored. An increasing role of applied biomedical technologies in studying specific biomarkers as part-an-parcel of the personalized approach was highlighted. The major obstacles for the introduction of the personalized approach into clinical practice as well as the ways of overcoming them were identified.
