We studied the efficacy and safety of varenicline in medical professionals with nicotine dependence. One third of the respondents quitted smoking entirely after the prescribed course of treatment with varenicline. The varenicline efficacy in nicotine dependence therapy in medical professionals was evaluated to be satisfactory.
