Abstract

We compared the efficiency of different lower and upper mandibular techniques for regional anesthesia. We established that the depth of intraosseous anesthesia exceeds that of the conventional anesthesia. The amount and type of anesthesia complications were similar in all clinical groups. We suggest that it could have been caused by undue stress of having to go under anesthesia. While applying intraosseous anesthesia, we failed to report any local complications.

Keywords

anesthesia, jaws, intraosseous infusion.
