Abstract

The article presents the results of the isolation and identification of the major groups of biologically active substances in the aerial parts of Inula britannica L. by using a preparative thin-layer chromatography followed by a spectrophotometry. We identified two biologically active substances, a chlorogenic acid and luteolin.
