Abstract

340 previously obtained CBCT images are studied. Fifty-six (16,5 %) patients had C-shaped canals in mandibular first premolars. Of those patients, 35(62,5 %) had bilateral C-shaped canals, and 21 (37,5 %) had unilateral C-shaped canals. 12 (3,5 %) patients had C-shaped canals in mandibular second premolars. Of those patients, 8 (66,6 %) had bilateral C-shaped canals, and 4 (33,3 %) had unilateral C-shaped canals. The prevalence of C-shaped canals in second mandibular molars were 10,3 % (35 patients). Of those patients, 24 (68,5 %) had bilateral C-shaped canals, and 11 (31,4 %) had unilateral C-shaped canals.

Keywords
