Immunological markers of vasoendothelial disfunction in acute coronary syndrome diagnostics

Abstract

We have investigated the levels of antibodies against Chlamidia Pneumoniae, glycosaminoglycanepolysulphate, collagen and gyaluronic acid in patients with different forms of coronary artery disease (CAD). We have revealed that different clinical forms of acute coronary syndrome are accompanied by serum antibody level increase. In patients with acute forms of CAD the serum antibody level strictly correlates with acute coronary syndromes severity. The sensitivity of the diagnostic techniques we have offered is 70 %. This method may be used in clinical practice as an addition to the standard diagnostic criteria.
