SEARCHING FOR EFFECTIVE DRUG COMPOSITIONS TO TREAT EROSIVE AND ULCERATIVE ORAL LICHEN PLANUS

Abstract

We studied the clinical efficacy of the combination of tizol and L-arginine in treating erosive and ulcerative oral lichen planus and compared it with the standard treatment regimen. It has been shown that tizol and L-arginine produce the optimal concentration of the drug in the lesion and the optimal therapeutic effect. Tizol and L-arginine also potentiate each other’s efficiency, accelerate epithelialization and reduce the healing time of oral lichen planus lesions.
