DETERMINATION OF THE FORM OF DISTAL OCCLUSION OF DENTAL ROWS BY THE METHOD OF COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE PARAMETERS OF THE CRANIO-FACIAL COMPLEX

Abstract

This article deals with the problem of distal occlusion. We have made the comparative analysis of the depth of gnatic part of the upper and lower face to indicate the form of this pathology. The research has resulted into discovering that there is an anthropometric co-relation between the depth of gnatic part of the upper and lower face and the form of distal occlusion. In the most cases, the lack of correspondence of the depth of gnatic face parts was explained by normognatic upper jaw and micrognatic lower jaw.
