Abstract

In the light of the growing number of neurotic disorders, health care reforms and the socioeconomic component of the country, the development of short-term and effective methods of psychotherapy is becoming especially topical. The aim of the study was to determine the indications for short-term individual analytical-cathartic therapy (ACTA) of patients with anxiety neurotic disorders. The article analyzes the dynamics of clinical and psychological characteristics of 90 patients with anxiety neurotic disorders (F40, F41, F42, F45, F48) who have undergone short-term individual analytical cathartic psychotherapy. Predictors of the ineffectiveness of the proposed treatment option are identified and a mathematical model for calculating the prognosis of the effectiveness of the short-term individual ACTA is presented. Based on the obtained data, indications and contraindications for the application of this method were determined.
