CLINICAL ASPECTS OF COMORBIDITY PROBLEM IN PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

Abstract

The article presents current data on the problem of сomorbidity /multimorbidity in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). An analysis of the frequency and structure of concomitant pathology of internal organs and the endocrine system in patients with RA is given. The results of numerous studies showing the prevalence of concomitant cardiovascular pathology and diseases of the digestive tract in patients with RA are presented. The negative role of antirheumatic therapy in the development of a number of diseases combined with RA has been noted. The significance of assessing RA-associated diseases that affect RA severity and patient management tactics is shown.
