Reactive arthritis in most cases is associated with intracellular infection, characterized by an asymmetric inflammation of mainly the joints of the lower extremities with enthesopathies and bursitis. In the pathological process can be involved body sight, skin and cardiovascular system. The study involved 82 patients with reactive arthritis (51 girls and 31 boys) aged 12 months to 16 years, the average age of children (6,1 ± 0,24) years. A specific immunoglobulin IgM and IgG antibody test for chlamidia trachomatis, chlamidia pneumonia, mycoplasma pneumonia, mycoplasma hominis, ureaplasma urealiticum, herpes simplex virus, cytomegalovirus, and Epstein-Barr virus was determined by the enzyme immunoassay.
