Abstract

At the moment, there are no specific recommendations and significant justifications for the use of antibacterial agents for the prevention of postoperative complications in the management of patients with congenital maxillofacial pathology,as well as for the appointment of this group of drugs before surgery. Competent prevention of bacterial contamination of the oral cavity and its necessity remains a cornerstone issue in modern dentistry.
