Abstract

Introduction. The study of weights of internal organs is the gold standard of pediatric pathological anatomy. Objective: to determine the reference rage of weights of internal organs in the mixed population of Moscow. Materials and methods. This study analyzed more than 2000 autopsy reports of fetuses and newborns born in the gestational age range from 20 to 41 weeks. Results. For standard parameters at each gestational age, control ranges were determined, including the mean value and its standard deviation. Conclusion. The results of this study will be useful for pathologists and forensic experts to verify the pathology in pre- and perinatal periods.
