Abstract

The use of butyrylcholinesterase immobilized on nanoparticles as a means of preventing acute poisoning with highly toxic organophosphates at a dose LD50 in experiments in vivo was studied. Entering of the drug 24 hours before exposure to diisopropyl fluorophosphate prevented the development of symptoms of acute intoxication and protected mice from death. In addition, the prophylactic administration of butyrylcholinesterase conjugated to colloidal gold significantly slowed the decrease in the activity of butyrylcholinesterase and acetylcholinesterase in the blood plasma and had a protective effect on cholinesterase in the brain.

Keywords
