The article presents a rare clinical and diagnostic case of a 31-year-old woman with Takayasu’s arteritis with the development of stroke. The uniqueness of the described example lies in the symmetry of the lesion of the branches of the aortic arch, as well as the involvement of the internal and external carotid arteries in the stenosis process. The final part of the material describes the nuances of the differential diagnosis between Takayasu’s arteritis and the atherosclerotic process.
