To increase effectiveness of drug clinical trials and trial participation, there is a need for research of sociological aspects of the trial. The definition of sociology of clinical trials as a new concept of sociology of medicine has become pressing in connection with formation of social institution of clinical trials. Sociological research of relationship of the participant, researcher,sponsor and healthcare system, development of institutionalization models and public control tools of clinical trials in order to assure the protection of participant’s rights are applied to problems of sociology of clinical trails.
