The current stage in the development of colorectal cancer surgery is characterized by the widespread introduction of minimally invasive technologies. Studies of recent decades have shown the acceptability and safety of endoscopic technologies in the treatment of colon cancer. Materials and methods: from 2014 to 2018, we performed 608 laparoscopic colon operations. 390 operations were performed on the rectum, including 291 with the preservation of the anal canal. 218 operations were performed on the colon. Results: the median duration of the operation was 180 minutes, blood loss – 100 ml, the duration of the postoperative period – 10 days. Postoperative complications occurred in 12,5 % of cases. Mortality was 1,1 %. Conclusions: performing laparoscopic surgery in compliance with all oncological principles in patients with colorectal cancer is a modern and very perspective way of operating patients with colon cancer.
