RISK OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN WITH BRONCH-OBSTRUCTIVE SYNDROME AND AN INITIALLY LOW ASTHMA PREDICTIVE INDEX

Abstract

With the using a binary logistic regression analysis, a representative model it was constructed that allows in 80,7 % of cases to predict the risk of developing bronchial asthma in children of early and preschool age with recurrent wheezing and an initially low Asthma Predictive Index (API) in school age with a high discriminatory ability (AUC = 0,901).
