Abstract

The use of radiology in diagnositics of maxillo-facial injuries is high on the agenda of modern medicine. The application of a range of cutting-edge infor-mation-intensive techniques, including spiral computer tomography, digital radio-graphy and ultrasound research, yields far more information at the stage of radiological diagnostics, provides an objective picture of the nature of injuries and, accordingly, makes it possible to choose the optimal treatment.
