Features of associated occurrence of chronic viral infections (chronic hepatitis C, B, mixed hepatitis В+С, herpes simplex infections) and HIV-infection are considered. It is established that HIV-infection accelerates liver damage in chronic viral hepatitis, especially in people with associated pathological processes (in narcotism, in particular), there is also a correlation between the extent of immunodeficiency and the patient’s condition. Herpes simplex infection associated with herpes viruses types I, II as well as HIV-infection often relapses. Its clinical and laboratory changes are expressed and depend on the extent of immunodeficiency. The specifics of the associated course of the above-mentio ned infections require special tactics of managing such patients, providing medical and social aid to them.
