VALUE OF CYTOGENETIC PARAMETERS IN PATIENTS WITH ACUTE ODONTOGENOUS FACIAL INFLAMMATION COMPLICATED BY PROLONGED TREATMENT

Abstract

78 patients with acute inflammatory diseases of the face have been examined by the method of cytogenesis. It has been revealed that this contingent of patients has a higher level of chromosome aberrations. It has been defined that the duration and character of the course of suppurative and inflammatory process depends on the extent of destruction of the genome of patients with abscesses and phlegmons of the maxillofacial region.
