Abstract

The investigation of features of ultrasound characteristics (echo structure, functional ultrasound study) of bile-excreting tracts in chronic opisthorchosis according to the duration of invasion has been carried out. 150 patients with chronic opisthorchosis, monogenic to the extent of evidence of the process activity have been examined. The control group includes 30 practically healthy people. Three sub-groups have been chosen on the basis of the criterion of the duration of invasion: up to 5 years, from 5 to 10 years, from 10 to 15 years. There has been revealed a dependence between the duration of the opisthorchosis invasion on the one hand and the degree of manifestation of the echo structural changes as well as the type of motor-tonic disturbances of the bile-excreting tracts on the other hand
