MYOCARDIAL REVASCULARIZATION IN PATIENTS WITH ISCHEMIC HEART DISEASE FROM CLINICO-ECONOMIC POINT OF VIEW

Abstract

The paper discusses the advantages of coronary artery bypass graft in patients with ischemic heart d isease with hemodynamically significant coronary artery lesion from the point of view of clinical effectiveness and cost-effectiveness per year of life considering the standard of living. When choosing the tactics of management for a patie nt with ischemic heart disease one should consider the results of clinico-economic analysis. Our study shows that patients undergoing coronary bypass surgery yielded the best clinical results in early postoperative period and the least cost of surgery and of medicamentous therapy over three years of follow-up.
