Abstract

An analysis of morbidity in children with community-acquired pneumonia with regard to introducing an antibiotic is carried out. Effects on the administration scheme of the antibiotic treatment, conditions of introdu cing antibiotic use and pharmacologic groups are reviewed. The results of pharmacoeconomic investigation of the effect of introducing an antibiotic on the therapy costs for children are given.
