Abstract

The study has been carried out on the comparative analysis of thyroid system indicators in139 patients with functional gastrointestinal disorders (FGD), 20 patients with gastric ulcer (GU), 20 patients with nonspecific ulcerative colitis (NUC) and 45 healthy subjects (HS). The GDG group displayed a high frequency of sick euthyroid syndrome (SES) which is characterized by changes in the thyroid hormones concentration. The indicators of thyroid (T) pseudodysfunction in patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) were combined with more serious progress notes.
