Prevention of pelvic floor muscular failure in oncogynecologic surgery

Abstract

The method of fixation of vaginal stump to the base of round uterine ligaments has been worked out. The method is performed as the final stage of panhysterectomy and prevents prolapse or complete inversion of vagina due to the formation of "frame" out of ligaments holding the vaginal stump.
