Abstract

On the basis of anonymous questioning of postpartum women an analysis of the quality of obstetric care in a maternity welfare centre and hospital was performed. Changes in medical and social profile of patients result in their greater insistence on higher standards of obstetric care. Greater attention is paid to ethical issues of personnel behavior.
