Abstract

Morphometric examination of the small intestine of rat adolescents against a background of chronic intoxication with lead acetate revealed an increase in the thickness of the wall and mucosa of the small intestine. An increase in the height of the villus has been noted due to an increase in the size of enterocytes and goblet cells.
