SYSTOLIC HEART FUNCTION IN ATHLETES WITH SIGNS OF CONNECTIVE TISSUE DYSPLASIA

Abstract

Young athletes aged 17–19 years with signs of heart connective tissue dysplasia in the form of single abnormally located chords, mitral valve prolapse of 1 degree, as well as their combinations were examined. Regardless of the nature of the manifestation of dysplasia, reliable signs of changes in the systolic function of the left ventricle were not found.
